League Stage Draw
The new format for the UEFA Champions League has been drawn today. No teams from the same association can face an opponent from the same association, with each team given their four home and four away games from two teams in each pot. The pots for the draw were as follows:
Pot 1 - The highest 9 rated teams in the competition

Pot 2 - The next 9 rated teams in the competition

Pot 3 - The following 9 rated teams in the competition

Pot 4 - The 9 bottom ranked teams in the competition

Teams Opponents
Below I will show the draw of each team, noting some of their more difficult fixtures as part of the draw:
An interesting draw for Real Madrid sees the reigning European Champions host Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan, while they also travel to Anfield to face Liverpool.
Manchester City, the English champions, will host Inter Milan while also travelling to PSG and Juventus.
German powerhouse, with Vincent Kompany as their manager, will host PSG and Benfica, while also travelling to Barcelona and Aston Villa.
PSG, the French champions, will have a difficult test as they host Manchester City and Athletic Madrid, while travelling to Bayern Munch and Arsenal.

The most successful English club in the competitions history with six wins, Liverpool, will host Real Madrid and German champions Bayer Leverkusen, while also travelling to AC Milan and RB Leipzig.
Inter Milan will host RB Leipzig and Arsenal, while facing away trips to Manchester City and Leverkusen.
Borussia Dortmund will host Barcelona while also travelling to Real Madrid, but got a kind draw from Pot 2 with Shakhtar and Club Brugge their opponents.
RB Leipzig will face Liverpool and Juventus at home while facing daunting trips to Inter and Atletico.

Barcelona will host Bayern Munich and Atalanta, while facing a tough away trips to Dortmund and Monaco.
German champions Leverkusen will host both Inter and AC Milan, while travelling to face Liverpool and Atletico away.
Atletico will host Leverkusen and Leipzig, while facing an away game against PSG.
Atalanta will host Real Madrid and Arsenal, while also facing an away game against Barcelona.

Juventus will host Manchester City in their toughest match, with away games against Leipzig and Aston Villa looking the toughest on paper.
Benfica host Barcelona and Atletico, with Bayern Munich and Juventus their big away games.
Arsenal will host PSG and Monaco, while also travelling away to Inter.
Club Brugge will host Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, and Aston Villa, while they also face away trips to Manchester City, AC Milan, and Celtic as part of a very difficult looking draw.

Shakhtar face Bayern and Atalanta at home while travelling away to face Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund.
Milan host Liverpool will facing away games against Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen.
Feyenoord will host Bayern Munich and Bayer Levekusen, while facing away games against Manchester City and Benfica.
Sporting CP will host Manchester City and Arsenal while facing a tough away game against RB Leipzig.

PSV will host Liverpool and also need to travel to PSG and Juventus.
GNK Dinamo will host Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan while travelling away to Bayern Munich and Arsenal.
RB Salzburg will host PSG and Atletico while facing away games against Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen.
Lille will host Real Madrid and Juventus while facing away games against Liverpool and Atletico.

Crvena Zvezda will host Barcelona and Benfica while travelling to face both Inter and AC Milan.
Young Boys will host Inter and Atalanta while facing a trip away to Barcelona.
Celtic will host Leipzig and face a tough away games against Borussia Dortmund and Aston Villa but have been given a kind draw in general.
S. Bratislava will host Manchester City and AC Milan while facing away games against Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, and Celtic.

Monaco will host Barcelona and Aston Villa while facing tough away games against Inter and Arsenal.
Sparta Prague will host Inter and Atletico while making away trips against Manchester City and Bayer Leverkusen.
Aston Villa, competing in the Champions League for the first time in 4 decades, will host Bayern Munich, Juventus, and Celtic, while face tough away games against RB Leipzig and Monaco.
Bologna will host Borussia Dortmund and Monaco while having a tough away game against Liverpool.

Girona will host Liverpool and Arsenal while playing away games against PSG and Milan.
Stuttgart will host PSG while travelling away to face Real Madrid and Juventus.
Sturm Graz will host Leipzig and Sporting CP while playing away against Borussia Dortmund and Atalanta.
Brest will host Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen while facing a tough away game against Barcelona.

The fixtures will be released on Saturday the 31st of August 2024, when each club will find out what order they will face each of their opponents.
