Today I will be starting a mini series looking at some of the hot meme coins which have been flooding the market recently, doing a quick analysis on each to show the latest (and somewhat crazy) trend that has taken over the crypto space.
$SIMPSON
A new player on the block and based off the famous character from the Simpsons, the $SIMPSON coin has seen a remarkable 18,000% rise in price and is the latest meme coin craze. With a fresh batch of new meme coins being created everyday, and all vying for the attention of the market, the Homer $SIMPSON coin was launched about a week ago. Important information includes:

The coin describes itself as “here to bring the laughs and the gains” according to the website, with its whitepaper claiming its intention to creating a "charitable-giving platform that is more secure and transparent than existing legacy payment rails."
The website shows Generative AI made NFTS's containing Homer Simpson, which are seemingly available for purchase. However, while exploring the website it seems the release of the NFT's will be as part of a later release, according to the roadmap. For now they seem unavailable but the website states as part of Stage III in the roadmap that a AI Minting D'app is planned.
There is also a liquidity pool which claims to be locked automatically by PinkSale for 1 year. This means, according to the website, that there are no unlocked tokens and no team / founder tokens, which will ensure that there is maximum security put in place for investors, apparently. They also claim the project and team are audited and KYC'd. Users will apparently be able to stake both their coins and NFT's to earn more $SIMPSON.
Users can make use of 'Homerswap' on the website where users can swap crypto, such as Ethereum, DAI, or USDT, to purchase $SIMPSON. There current price of $SIMPSON at the time of writing is about: $0.000000000038 so expect to get a large bag of coins for a couple of dollars.
One of the most interesting and unusual things about the $SIMPSON coin and its site is the AI Chat Bots. The website mentions a Twitter AI Bot that’s “coming soon” which will be available to all, and fully integrated into the social media site. It will be free to interact with and access for all users on Twitter. There will also be a Telegram AI Bot, and interestingly a paid Bot with a variety of subscription plans.
There are three packages, with Basic, Standard, and Premium available. The prices vary from $15 all the way up to $100 a month, with different features available in each. One thing to note is that to make use of a reputable AI Bot, such as ChatGPT, it is much cheaper.
There is clearly a long term plan laid out for the project, but similarly, there is also clearly a rushed element to it. For example the contact email on the site is for a domain-less Gmail account, although that seems quite standard for meme coins which are being create in their droves on a daily and weekly basis.
$SIMPSON has been trending at No.5 on data and trading site for decentralized exchanges Dextools, with buying purchasing it in the hopes its ultra speculative nature will result in the price soaring and a return of unsurmountable gains.
The price has seen around an 18,000% gain, give or take, since its inception, and users are flocking in as the price continues to rise. There is likely to be a downside with this, so it is imperative users understand the protentional for a VERY steep decline as much as there is potential for a further rise in price. It is currently available to purchase on Uniswap, MEXC, and BitMart.
Will the meme coin fad continue, and will $SIMPSON emerge as the king of the memes? Only time will tell, but with the market being flooded in this meme coin craze it is certainly fun to what these coins rise. The creators will be happy, early investors will be happy, and I imagine Homer Simpson would be quite happy also.
