As we all know having a strong following and audience is key for finding success when doing things in the Crypto space such as selling NFTs. Below I am going to list out some rules and tips to follow which can help anybody to achieve success in creating an audience on Twitter. I originally saw this on Twitter by user NFT God, and used it as inspiration for this post.
Rules for Building an Audience
Make sure to post a Tweet everyday.
Don't request anything from your audience, instead provide them with solid content.
When you Tweet make is readable. Don't allow your formatting be a barrier or obstacle.
Proof read. Proof read again. Spelling and grammar are cool, not nerdy.
Take a break from Twitter. If you spend all day on social media it can be awful for your health.
Read books. It will improve your vocabulary and your Tweets will reflect this.
Less than 1,000 followers means keep your focus limited. NFT account should be about a NFT account, not your hobbies.
Between 1,000 - 5,000 followers is a chance to expand your area and interact with wider communities.
At 5,000 - 10,000 followers you are known, so make your Tweets reach out to bigger audiences. Start threads.
Whether its 1 follower or 1 Million followers, pay the same level of detail and attention when you compose your Tweet.
Replying to other big accounts. This will allow your voice to be heard and reach a bigger audience.
Talking part in Twitter Spaces related to your accounts interests, or hosting your own.
Hosting your own Twitter Space. Don't be afraid of public speaking.
Keep notes and track of your ideas, they can be used for Threads later.
Schedule your Tweets ahead of time if you have a busy day ahead and wont be available to write them.
Be kind to others. Kindness helps to grow and learn, negativity can give you a bad reputation.
Do not focus on monetising too soon, let the organic growth happen first.
Posting one quality Tweet is better than posting hundreds on low quality ones.
Chill. Its a journey. Enjoy it. Learn along the way. Meet new people. Have a great time.
These are a generic set of tips of course, and I am certain there are more ideas and strategies you can use to improve your audience on Twitter or other social media.
