Binance Launches Institutional Loans
The cryptocurrency exchange Binance have announced the launching of institutional loans for corporate users who have VIP 5 and above. This new feature will offer up to 4x leverage that gives you the ability to aggregate collateral across multiple asset accounts. The news means this new feature will eliminate the limitations of a single account for margin collateral and in essence it will significantly enhancing a users capital efficiency and flexibility. High-frequency and institutional traders who need rapid access to liquidity will benefit from this new cross-collateralised credit line. Institutional Loans will allow traders pool collateral from up to ten Spot, Cross Margin, and Portfolio Margin sub-accounts.

The borrowed funds will be credited to a dedicated Portfolio Margin, Portfolio Margin Pro, or Cross Margin account, enabling instant deployment across Binance’s Margin and Futures markets. While this is exclusive to VIP level 5 accounts, users have the option to apply for a manual assessment, which will be conducted by Binance on a case-by-case basis.
Borrowers can access loans between 1 to 10 million USDC or USDT, secured against net equity across their collateralized accounts. As part of the features there is an interest-free option, meaning a tiered interest rate structure will be introduced with the potential to reduce fees to zero under an interest rebate program as long as the user meets specific performance criteria.
The program will support over 400 collateral assets and include major Spot tokens like BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL, and BNB, which are exempt from haircut ratios to give clients greater borrowing power. The Portfolio Margin Pro or Cross Margin when paired with Margin Special Key will allow users to experience Spot-like latency in Margin trading, ensuring rapid and efficient transaction execution.
