Predictions on Final Four Teams and Winner
While it is still very early days and somewhat impossible to predict who will make it to the latter stages of the competition, I will give it a go nonetheless.
As shown above I believe the last 16 will be:
Liverpool, Napoli, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Tottenham Hotspurs, Frankfurt, AC Milan, Chelsea, Real Madrid, RB Leipzig, Manchester City, Dortmund, PSG,Juventus
Who will make it to the Semi Finals?
Assuming they do not meet each other in the Round of 16 or Quarter Finals:
Liverpool
Manchester City
Bayern Munich
Real Madrid
While Liverpool have looked shaky at the start of the season its difficult to go against them in the Champions League.
Manchester City will be desperate to finally win their first UCL trophy, especially with Haaland firing upfront.
Bayern Munich look very strong with Mané replacing Lewandowski upfront and finding his form early.
Real Madrid are golden when it comes to this competition, and with their new look midfield they will be determined to retain their crown.
Who will win the competition?
Assuming they don't come unstuck, I am going to back Liverpool under Klopp to reach the final once again and put to bed their demons of losing two finals against Real Madrid in recent years, and for Klopp to add to the Champions League he won with Liverpool in 2019.
