Now for the most exciting part, as I go through the latest info regarding each team to make an attempt at predicting the results for this week matches. Remember this is just my fun analysis and should not be taken as advice or a guarantee.

Chelsea - Luton

Chelsea are currently in fifteenth with a point, while Luton are sitting in seventeenth with no points on the board.

The Blues are still looking for a first league win under Pochettino, having draw at home with Liverpool but succumbing to a defeat away to West Ham last time out. Chelsea are taking time to click with the influx of new players and new manager, and they will be looking for good results to kick start their season. After such a poor first season under Boehly, where Chelsea dropped points in four of their six matches against newly promoted sides, they will aim for much improvement this time.

Luton have lost their only league game so far, with the club yet to play at home due to stadium works. Having lost their first ever Premier League game, the Hatters have another huge task on their hands. Edwards has seen ten new players come in as the squad has been bolstered, but more are expected before the deadline. They will be hoping to pull off a miracle in staying up, but their fans will be delighted to experience the adventures of the top flight. They were second best against the well set Brighton, but they will be looking to cause an upset against Chelsea at the Bridge.

Chelsea will be without Wesley Fofana, Nkunku, Chukwuemeka, Broja, Chalobah, James, Mudryk, Badiashile, and Bettinelli. Lavia will need to be assessed. Luton will be missing Burke, Osho, Potts, and Clark, while Barkley is a doubt.

Form Last Six League Games:

Home: DL

Away: LL

Luton beat Chelsea in their previous league meeting way back in 1991, but Chelsea have won their previous two cup encounters. The Blues have to be favourites, especially at home, and they should claim their first win under Pochettino. Luton wont make it easy, and Chelsea will need to start converting their chances if they expect to win. Therefore, I will go for an upset and say this will end in a draw.

Final score: 1-1

Bournemouth - Spurs

The Cherries are in fourteenth with a single points as they welcome sixth place Tottenham who have 4 points.

Bournemouth lost 3-1 at Liverpool last time out as Iraola's side had raced into the lead but eventually succumbed to the power of Liverpool. The result means the Cherries are now on a six match run without a win in the Premier League, and they are also without a clean sheet at home since last March. They have only managed to win once at home in their previous six games, meaning while its early days for Iraola and his pressing style, the pressure will soon be on.

Spurs managed a home win over Manchester United last time out as Postecoglou is showing his ability to take Spurs up a level. They are unbeaten so far this campaign and have managed to score in each of their previous 14 Premier League games. They have however conceded on each of their previous seven away games and only managed to win once. Kane is gone but Spurs are shining, and Postecoglou will be pushing for more and more from his side as his style grows and develops amongst the players.

Bournemouth will be without Tavernier, Scott, Outtara, and Fredericks, while they need to assess Smith and Cook ahead of this one. Spurs will be without Bentancur, Sessegnon, Gil, and Whiteman, while they need to assess Maddison.

Form Last Six League Games:

Home: DL

Away: DW

Both these sides managed a 3-2 away from home against each other last season, showing there has been plenty of goals in this with five goal thrillers. With new managers in each dugout, Spurs will looked to continue their dominant performance against United by picking up another win here. Iraola's Cherries are still capable of giving their fans something to cheer, but the gulf in quality should show and Postecoglou will get another win.

Final score: 1-3

Arsenal - Fulham

Arsenal are currently third with six points, while Fulham are sitting in thirteenth with 3 points.

Arteta's side struggled to be convincing against Forest and even more so against Palace, albeit they did manage a win in both games. The Gunners are still not looking secure at the back, without one clean sheet in their last eight home games, and they will need to rectify that sooner rather than later. They have a perfect start so far and will be keen to continue in such a vein, knowing its better to set the pace than try catch up. More additions to the side may arrive before the end of the window, but for now Arteta needs to get his defence back to its solid best.

Fulham have seen Mitrovic leave in a club record fee to Al Hilal, and have been busy looking for replacements to bolster their attack. Silva will be looking for the right solution as Brentford tore them apart last time out. They have struggled to create as Raul Jiminez has, so far, not been the required solution. The Cottagers are on a win-loss-win pattern away from home in the league going back to the start of May, while they have only managed two away clean sheets the beginning of last season.

Arsenal will be without Tomiyasu, Timber, Elneny, and Jesus, while they will need to assess Balogun and Lokonga. Fulham will be missing Ream for this one.

Form Last Six League Games:

Away: WL

Fulham will welcome Palhinha back to add some much needed steel to their midfield, but Arsenal are all geared up to get their third win of the season. Arteta has experimented with his line-up and system at times this season, but they comfortably manage a win here at home.

Final score: 2-0

Brentford - Crystal Palace

Brentford are sitting in fourth with four points as they welcome Palace who are eleventh in the table with three points.

The Bees managed to win by three goals against Fulham last time out, and Frank will be delighted how his team is finding the net without top scorer Toney. Only Brighton have scored more goals than Brentford so far this season, and continuing their impressive attacking output will ensure their season ends as well or better than last. Frank has seen his side take 13 points from their last five league games, and are hoping to score for the 15th top-flight home game in a row. They have only lost at home to Arsenal and Newcastle since the beginning of last season, and will look to extend that record here, although they have a League Cup game against Newport County next week to also consider.

Palace lost narrowly to Arsenal last time out as Palace put up a good show at home. Hodgson has them playing strong and they are on a run of only two loses in their previous six away games. They are sitting pretty in midtable and Hodgson will want his side to push into the top half before the end of the season. Olise has stayed which is a huge boost given the interest from Chelsea, but making sure his side regularly find the net is the main concern as they have always been solid at the back under Hodgson.

Toney and Dasilva will be missing for Brentford, while they will need to analyse Mee ahead of this one. Palace will be without Olise, Hughes, and Franca.

Form Last Six League Games:

Home: DL

Away: WL

These sides played out two nil nils last season, with two 1-1's the year before, so they are very evenly matched. They are both dangerous on the attack and solid at the back, so expect a tight game here. I feel that Brentford are looking the more capable side here, especially with Olise ruled out. Therefore I am backing Frank to oversee another win at home for the Bees.

Final score: 2-0

Everton - Wolves

The Toffees are sitting bottom of the table with zero points as they host nineteenth placed Wolves, who also have zero points.

Everton shipped four at home against Villa last weekend and will know this is one of their crucial games this season. Getting points against fellow relegation candidates Wolves could be the kickstart Everton need, along with the attack minded signing of Che Adams from Southampton. With three goals scored in their last six away league games, he will be badly needed. They have also only managed to win one of their last five at Goodison Park, being the survival securing win over Bournemouth last season. Dyche will be feeling the pressure already and the campaign kicks on and he needs more bodies into his squad.

Wolves were torn apart by Brighton last time out, following their narrow loss to United on the opening day of the season. They are only above Everton on goal difference, and are on a three-game losing run and five-game winless streak in the Premier League. Nunes was sent off against Brighton and is now being linked with Manchester City, as the Wolves squad looks a shadow of its former self. They have lost in each of their last five on the road and only managed one away win in 2023, against a relegated Southampton side. O'Neil is up against it to perform another miracle and keep his side up this term.

Everton are without Coleman, Alli, Iwobi, Calvert-Lewin, Harrison, and McNeil, while Gomes needs to be checked ahead of this one. Wolves will be without Nunes for their visit to Merseyside.

Form Last Six League Games:

Home: LL

Away: LL

Wolves managed a late win at Goodison last season, while Everton managed a late draw at Molineux in the later fixture. Both teams are lacking in the attacking department, meaning the chances of this being a goal fest are slim. A low scoring draw is the most likely result, if any goals at all, as both sides will be focused on making sure they don't concede more than anything else.

Final score: 1-1

Manchester United - Nottingham Forest

United are currently twelfth with 3 points as they face Forest, who are tenth with 3 points.

United lost to Spurs last time out as Ten Hag has plenty to ponder over his midfield options. They lost the midfield battle against Spurs, and their away record now shows three wins in their last eleven away days. At home however United are strong, unbeaten in the league since the opening day of last season. With new striker Hojlund still out, the pressure remains on Rashford and co to supply the goals to get this side going. Much will be made of Mount until the performances improve, and the pressure is on Ten Hag to make this side work.

Forest overcame new side Sheffield United with a 2-1 win last weekend, having lost to Arsenal by the same score on the opening weekend. They have Awoniyi on form and will look for more goals as he is becoming the main man in Coopers side. Home form has kept them in the league, getting 30 of their 38 points last season at the City Ground. They managed just one win, five draws, and thirteen defeats on the road last term, and rectifying that this time around will be key to making them a regular Premier League side.

Manchester United will be missing Mainoo, Mount, Hojlund, Malacia, Diallo Traore, and Heaton, while they will need to assess Maguire. Forest will be missing Felipe, Richards, and Hennessey, while Ania is a doubt.

Form Last Six League Games:

Home: WL

Away: LW

United beat Forest in all four encounters in all competitions since Ten Hag arrived, and at home they will be confident of more success. United thrive at home, but Ten Hag has a lot to do about their away from. Forest meanwhile should put up a good fight but its unlikely to be enough.

Final score: 2-1

Brighton - West Ham

The Seagulls are leading the pack so far as they sit top of the table with six points. West Ham meanwhile are sitting in fifth with four points.

Brighton are sitting pretty at the top of the pile and De Zerbi's side are scoring for fun. They beat both Luton and Wolves by 4-1 scores, but will face tougher tests than those relegation candidates. De Zerbi has overseen 16 wins in his 34 league games in charge, taking 55 points in the process. They will be pushing for Europe once again this term and at home they are as strong as any side. Their attacking play causes plenty of problems and soon they will have the excitement of knowing their Europa League opponents.

Moyes will be up against it here, but his side did manage a huge win against Chelsea last time out. Ensuring his side can put in a better domestic performance than last season will ensure the Europa Conference League winners are under less pressure this time around. Ward-Prowse has settled with two assists, and the Hammers are looking to bring in Mohammed Kudus from Ajax. They will need time to settle but the squad is building from the Rice money and West Ham could have a successful season.

Moder and Enciso will be missing for Brighton, while West Ham will be without the suspended Aguerd.

Form Last Six League Games:

Home: WW

Away: DW

Brighton beat West Ham 4-0 back in March and in the same scoring mood these days. They have scored the most so far this term and wont want to stop, so Moyes will be up against it here. All in all Brighton should be too strong at home, but West Ham are looking a confident and tricky side with Bowen back amongst the goals.

Final score: 3-1

Burnley - Aston Villa

New boys Burnley are currently eighteenth with zero points, while Villa are in ninth with 3 points.

Burnley lost their opener against City but have not played in the league since due to the postponed game against Luton. They will look to get back to winning ways having lost two of their previous three at Turf Moore, having gone unbeaten 21 games in a row before that. Kompany has revolutionised Burnley’s style of play and in doing so has one of the youngest sides in the league. They will be raring to go after the break in play and they could see new signings Hannes Delcroix and Aaron Ramsey involved. Burnley will put up a strong showing and Kompany will want to prove he can make it in the big leagues.

Aston Villa beat Everton 4-0 last time out having been thrashed themselves 5-1 back on the opening day of the season. Villa also beat Hibernian during the week to win their Europa Conference League playoff first leg, and Emery will be keen to see the goals continue. Watkins got a hattrick and will be keen for more here, while Villa will be looking to push right back into the European places this season. Mings is a huge loss but they are showing their ability to work around that, and all in all Villa are showing that their loss to Newcastle was a once off and not the norm.

Burnley will be without Zaroury, Obafemi, and Churlinov, with doubts over Beyer. Villa will be missing Buendia, Mings, Ramsey, Dendoncker, Coutinho, and Iroegbunam, while there are fitness concerns for Moreno.

Form Last Six League Games:

Home: L

Away: LW

Villa have two wins in their previous three league visits to Turf Moore, and although it was a difficult hunting ground it the past, things are changing. Villa should have enough about them to to get the win here and they will be capable of getting a couple of goals here.

Final score: 1-3

Sheffield United - Manchester City

Sheffield United have no points and are currently in sixteenth in the standings. City meanwhile are sitting in second with six points.

United have failed to win yet in the top flight, losing to Forest last time out. Heckingbottom has added attacking quality to the side, with Hamer producing last time out but it is still a side lacking quality. They will face an uphill struggle to remain in the division beyond this season, and all three of the goals conceded so far in the league have come from balls into the box. They have scored two goals in the last six (including friendlies) and their miserable run will still the fans living on hope instead of expectations.

Manchester City managed a narrow 1-0 win over Newcastle last time out as Pep continues his assault on defending the title. Foden stepped up in the place of De Bruyne as City beat their fellow Champions League contestants, as they are only behind Brighton on goal difference. Having already beaten newly promoted Burnley, City will look to produce an impressive score here, with Doku in contention to make his debut after his arrival from Rennes. He will bolster the attack with Mahrez having left earlier in the summer.

Sheffield United will be Fleck, Brewster, Coulibaly, and Norrington-Davies. They will also need to assess the fitness of Slimane, Bogle, Jebbison, McBurnie, Lowe, and Baldock. City will be without De Bruyne and Stones.

Form Last Six League Games:

Home: LL

Away: WW

City have not lost to Sheffield United in their previous five meetings, not since a 2007-08 FA Cup fourth-round tie have Sheffield United beaten City. There can only be one winner here, especially given the gulf in class and talent.

Final score: 0-4

Newcastle - Liverpool

Newcastle are eight with 3 points while Liverpool are in seventh with 4 points.

Howe's side lost 1-0 to City last weekend following their thumping of Villa, and will have another tough test here. Howe's side will find out their Champions League fate soon, with anticipation building around St. James for their European nights. They will need to battle to get their again, as shown against Manchester City, and against the bigger sides is where it will matter most. The gap has reduced but they are far from away from the top sides in terms of quality. Liverpool beat them both home and away last season so Howe will want revenge here.

Klopp oversaw his side beating Bournemouth while new signing Endo made his first appearance from the bench. The MacAllister ban has been overturned for his red card, meaning they will have the same midfield options available. The midfield is still lacking in dept and the club is dealing with rumours of an offer from Saudi Arabia for Salah, but the team will be looking to build on their run of 13 games unbeaten in the league. Their form has been mixed, with the draw away to Chelsea, and away form was the problem last season, so Klopp will want to build on that here. Endo may be in line for a start.

Newcastle will be missing Krafth, Manquillo, and Willock, while Joelinton needs to be assessed. Liverpool will be without Jones, Bajcetic, and Thiago, while Alexander-Arnold needs to be tested for fitness ahead of this one.

Form Last Six League Games:

Home: WL

Away: DW

Liverpool managed to beat Newcastle both home and away last season, and have not lost to Newcastle since December 2015. While Newcastle are strong at home and tore Villa apart, I think Liverpool will be a bigger test. A win for either side will be huge in the early race for Champions League places, but I feel Liverpool will have enough fire power, and defensive nous, to just about win this one.

Final score: 2-3
