Sixth Round Draw

The draw for the Sixth Round (Quarter Finals) took place on Thursday the 3rd of March at around 8 pm. With eight teams remaining in the competition, things are heating up as we edge closer to discovering who the winner of this years FA Cup will be. This will also be the final round played away from Wembley, so victory in this next round will ensure the teams who progress get to play at "the home of football" for a place in the final. The games will be played in the week of 18-21st of March.

  • Crystal Palace - Everton
  • Nottingham Forrest or Huddersfield - Liverpool
  • Middlesbrough - Chelsea
  • Southampton - Manchester City

Premier League Fixtures

Burnley 0-2 Leicester

Maddison, Vardy

Pope was in outstanding form at Turf Moor for Burnley but finally got beaten as two substitutes came off to bench to bag a goal each. Maddison got the first with a long range effort from outside the box after Vardy set him up following a Schmeichel long-range clearance. The second arrived from Vardy as he scored on his first appearance since getting injured against Liverpool in December. He headed home a left-wing cross from Harvey Barnes to seal the three points and boost Leicester after their recent poor run of form. The win sees Leicester 12th in the table on 30 points, nine points clear of Burnley in 18th. The Clarets meanwhile are a point from safety having played a game more than Everton in 17th, and two points off Leeds with the Whites having played a game more than Burnley.
