Good day everybody,

Welcome to CryptoGod-1's blog on all things sports. Today we are going to review the latest round of matches from Match Day 4 for the twenty teams in the Premier League. An exciting weekend with some surprise results, amazing second debuts, and first home goals for a powerful striker. I shall also look through my predictions from my previous post, which you can find here: English Premier League Match Day 4 Preview

Weekend Predictions & Final Results

So in terms of the predicted scores, I managed to achieve 1/9 correct. Not great but considering it's a lotto of what the score will be, I don't think I did too badly. In terms of match-winner/loser, I am delighted to say I managed to get 5/9 correct.

What a round of matches we got! Tottenham with the shock but deserved defeat against Palace. Great to see Edouard settling in from the off.
Arsenal is up and running, albeit against a Norwich side who are struggling once again in the top flight.
Brighton's cool style of play is definitely setting them up with a strong start to the season. Brentford are finally seeing what it means to play Premier League football, but I think they will have a long but successful season and stay up.
The champion Man City are back to their winning ways, even if it took a player linked with a move away all summer to unlock the strong Leicester defense. The foxes showed their class and will fancy themselves to claim a spot in Europe once again.
Ronaldo started, and he started strong. Right place, right time, no better man. Newcastle fans don’t want Bruce, but he has can and should get the results against teams outside the top seven. (Including Leicester)
Southampton needs to start turning draws into wins if they are to avoid a season fighting the drop. As for West Ham, they will be pleased with their start and be comfortable in the top half.
Hwang introduced himself to English football, and the North Korean will add something different to Wolves. Watford are on a tough run, but for perspective are above Arsenal in the table after four games.
Lukaku has matured into a top-class striker and Chelsea are reaping their rewards by bringing him back. Villa needs to get and fast. Someone needs to grab the games for the like Grealish did, and take command on the field.
Fingers crossed for Harvey Elliot but what an awful tackle. Such a shame. A positive light was Salah and Mané scoring, while Thiago and Fabinho looked very solid. Leeds have their work cut out this season, Elland road and the fans could be the difference come May.

Table

Top Goalscorers After Match Day 4

1 - M. Antonio - West Hame - 4 Goals
2 - B. Fernandes- Man Utd - 4 Goals
3 - D. Calvert Lewinn - Everton - 3 Goals
4 - M. Greenwood - Man Utd - 3 Goals
5 - R. Lukaku - Chelsea - 3 Goals
6- M. Salah - Liverpool - 3 Goals

I hope you got to see the games, just 34 more games to go until we have our champions. Now for an exciting week of European football ahead of us.

Hope you enjoyed the read, have a wonderful day.

Peace. CryptoGod-1.
