I hope you are all well and had an excellent week, welcome to CryptoGod-1's blog on all things sports. With the 2022 FIFA World Cup almost upon us, I decided to make my predictions of who will win their groups, and who will progress through the knockout rounds to win the tournament.

The Groups

Below is a quick roundup of the groups at this years World Cup in Qatar. There are many strong sides who have qualified, along with many who never managed to get beyond the qualifying stages.

Group Winners

Below are who I believe will win their groups along with the runner ups who will progress into the next round. There are plenty of tough groups and it was difficult to leave out the likes of Poland, Croatia, and the USA, but I am happy with my choices.

Round of 16

Next we have the round of 16, where group winners are paired with runner ups. These are predetermined, so teams already who they may potentially face for winning or finishing runner up in their group, based on the graphic below.

Looking at my selections, there will be some big games here. Overall I think a lot of the teams I foresee winning their groups will have rnough about them to progress.

Quarter Final

With the last 8 their looks to be a strong selection and some tough match ups. There is a potential of revenge for Brazil following their 7-1 loss to Germany at the World Cup in 2014, while a huge clash could take place between France and England.

Semi Final

With the final four anything is possible, and generally there is an unexpected guest amongst them, being Uruguay from my predictions. All in all I think it will be France getting to the final once again, to face off against Lionel Messi and Argentina.

Final

The biggest game in world football, where I believe Argentina will be crowned the overall winner and champions of the world, with France the runner ups and Uruguay taking third place.
