I hope you are all well, welcome to Cryptogod-1’s blog on all things literature and gaming. Today I just wanted to share a quick poem I put together.

I have been ill recently unfortunately and had a short term stay in hospital. During this time I had the chance to reflect and think over things, and as I often do, I contemplated life. After meeting some beautiful and wonder people in the hospital, I was inspired to do a quick poem about it.

Roughly it’s about the struggles we all face in life and the difficult decisions we face and have to make. Sometimes we reach a fork in the road and must decide which way to go. The facilities included a board with cut out words magnetically attached to the board. With a little craft and a lot of words I was able to put together a 5 line stanza. I did my best to capture the emotions of life in this, and I believe it’s something that could be applicable to everyone in life.

The poem is as follows:

”You and me are here,   
  Together running that road.   
  Thing’s are bad and good.   
  Walk through the fire,   
  And after the light.”

I hope you enjoy the poem and if it can brighten your day in any way I will be delighted. Remember we all face difficulties but we all have that inner strength to push ourselves and do great things in this world.
