The search for the "Holy Faucet" begins!
The first contender: TrustDice
To have a better idea of what we are trying to do here, you can start by reading this article: long story short, we are looking for the best paying faucet according to these criteria:
- Tokens (value in dollar) given per claim;
- Time between claims;
- Withdrawal limits;
- Usability.
A LITTLE INTRODUCTION
The first faucet site I want to write about is... well, is not a faucet! You have been clickbaited? Nope, don't run away, keep reading! :)
Obviously there's a faucet (it's what we are talking about!), but the site offers it as feature... so it is there, but technically it shouldn't be the main reason to register on the site.
Now the next question is: "and what prevents me from registering to the site only for this purpose?"?
And the answer is: "Nothing!".
Talking about the site, TrustDice is an online casino for crypto-players, where you can bet and wager in multiple provably fair games.
To let you start playing without a deposit, the site allows its users to use the built-in faucet, where you can claim every 6 hours (that can be lowered till 4 if you rank up by wagering) one of six different tokens (BTC, ETH, EOS, USDT, TXT, VITA), which can be withdrawed after reaching the minimum requirements.
ANALYSIS
1) Tokens (value in dollar) given per claim

According to the actual values, the Ethereum's faucet is the most profitable.
2) Time between claims

You can even get to 4 claims per day, but I believe that 3 is more reasonable (for example you can claim according to this pattern: 9.00 a.m. - 3.00 p.m. - 9.00 p.m.).
3) Withdrawal limits
The withdrawal limit for Ethereum is 0.01 ETH, with a variable gas fee (0.002835 ETH right now).
You can withdraw directly to your wallet.
4) Usability
The faucet requires to complete a simple reCaptcha and doesn't detect AdBlockers or Brave Shield from Brave Browser, so you can claim in a few seconds without wasting time.
AVERAGE EARNING
With 3 claims per day the average earning is:
- 0.00006 ETH per day (or 0.22 $)
- 0.00180 ETH per month (or 6.67 $)
- 0.02190 ETH per year (or 81.03 $)
You can reach the withdrawal limit in less than 6 months (not taking into consideration that you can wager and reach it faster, if you are good (and lucky) at wagering).
FINAL VERDICT
In my experience, most faucets have terrible usability (ads popping everywhere and numerous and difficult captchas to resolve), give very little value per claim (far less than 0.01 $) and require to make tons of claims per day.
TrustDice is way more than a faucet but has incredible usability and one of the most (if not the most) profitable faucet.
With 0.02190 ETH per year (or 81.03 $) and as little as three claims per day, TrustDice is by far my favourite faucet, very close to be the "Holy Faucet" I am looking for.
The only downside is that you need on average six months to reach the withdrawal limit... but you are claiming Ethereum, so this shouldn't be an issue, being Ethereum one of the best performing altcoin, which everyone would love to have in his wallet even in six months!
If you are looking for a good faucet, TrustDice is surely worth a try.
Instead, if you are interested in a good gaming/gambling site, I prefer BetFury over TrustDice, even if BetFury has a terrible faucet... but this will be the subject for a different article (and you'll find the link, when available, in this post)!
