That the Petro was not a currency destined to disappear soon became clear when the first bank in the country declared that it would integrate the accounts of the current account holders with a wallet that would allow them to keep even the new currency, now the news that the thirteenth will be paid in Petro it shows even more that Venezuela is really going through a transitional phase that will lead to the gradual abandonment of the bolivar (the official Venezuelan fiat currency) and the mass adoption of Petro as the only currency in the country.
