The largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world has been suspended on Weibo, binance will no longer be able to use Chinese twitter

On November 13, the Weibo account of binance, the world's leading cryptocurrency exchange platform for volumes, was suspended; the reasons are not well known, there is talk of a violation of the policy by binance, but The China Times, the site that first reported it on November 15th, did not enter the merits of the reasons that led to the Suspension. At the moment Binance itself does not comment on the incident, however it is likely that the incident was caused by the statements of Changpeng Zhao, CEO of the exchange, relating to the desire to integrate a new Gateway that would allow WeChat and Alipay users to buy cryptocurrencies with fiat currency despite the exclusion imposed by the government on company accounts on the two famous platforms. The same news had been spread by CZ via twitter a few weeks ago, within a few hours, however, the tweets had probably been removed because Zhao himself had realized he had taken the longest step of his leg; the incident, however, had seemed immediately significant enough and it was we of ValuteVirtuali, dealing with it, who announced that it would inevitably have some aftermath.

However, it should be stressed again that all this has not been officially confirmed, this type of reconstruction has been shared by many observers, but the fact remains that it could still be wrong; as reported by cointelegraph also the Weibo account of TRON is currently blocked, it could therefore be likely that this block derives simply from the propensity, which is common to both Zhao and Justin Sun, to share "confidential" news through social networks, anticipating official sources and causing distortions also on the price trend of some cryptographic assets. What seems quite certain is that the block does not involve all companies active in the blockchain industry, for example, the accounts of Huobi and OKEx are still reachable on Weibo; we don't even know if the suspension is revocable or not, nor if more attention from Zhao and Sun in the use of the respective accounts to solve the problem is enough, what we know for sure is that the Chinese government is able to interfere directly in the decisions of online platforms and therefore the blockade could also be the result of the fact that the two entrepreneurs have beaten the calluses to some important exponent of the government or party.
