Croatian Post is the largest postal service provider in Croatia, it is a government-controlled joint stock company, so the fact that it has decided to offer a cryptocurrency exchange service is news that cannot go unnoticed in the community of passionate; the service, at the end of a first test phase, has now been extended to as many as 55 post offices spread all over the country and supports, at least for now, five cryptocurrencies, namely bitcoin, ethereum, stellar, XRP and EOS. The official Croatian Post website lists all the 55 offices that offer the service and there is also a widget that allows users to calculate the change between the various cryptocurrencies and the local currency in advance; all this was possible thanks to the collaboration with Electrocoin, a local provider of intermediation and payment processing, which deals with the management of exchanges from a purely technical point of view. The Croatian postal services company stated with a note to consider digitalization as one of the main strategies for developing its projects and announced its intention to introduce the option that will allow cryptocurrencies to be purchased at post offices in the future. Croatians.

The push towards this type of innovation was also generated by tourism, which represents an important part of the country's economy; many of the tourists who arrive in Croatia, in fact, have requested in the past if there was the possibility of spending their cryptocurrencies in the country, consequently Croatian Post immediately understood the usefulness of offering such a service, not only for itself but also for the whole country system. As we know very well, in fact, contrary to the media vulgate that states the exact opposite, cryptocurrency enthusiasts do not just keep their coins in a wallet but spend them; this means that there is a whole market that revolves around cryptocurrencies which can be accessed only by opening up to innovation. As this news begins to circulate in the community, therefore, we can be sure that the number of cryptocurrency enthusiasts who will seriously consider a holiday in Croatia in the near future will increase exponentially and this will generate a virtuous chain reaction for the simple reason that if all these people, as it is almost certain to happen, will have a great experience, they will inevitably end up advertising Croatia when they return home, increasing the number of tourists in the country. Croatian post has well understood all this and has taken the first necessary step to make its branches the reference points in the country for what every bitcoiners worthy of the name considers the inevitable transition from fiat currency based economy to one based on criptovalute.
