After launching a playful app, similar to a quiz, which rewards bitcoin players for their knowledge of cryptocurrencies and having just launched its decentralized exchange, John McAfee said he would limit his efforts to promote cryptographic projects to devote himself to entirely to his election campaign for the 2020 US presidential election; the reason, it was justified with its followers, is that the crypto ecosystem is too crowded and constantly evolving, consequently McAfee will no longer have the time to study the various projects and sponsor them via social, rather than doing it wrong, therefore, he prefers not to do it at all and devote himself to his political "career". In reality the inventor of the homonymous antivirus is perfectly aware of not having any chance of winning the US presidential elections next year, however he declares that he wants to exploit the opportunity offered by his own election campaign to sponsor the cryptographic technologies taking advantage of the national limelight represented by the elections. It therefore seems to understand that McAfee does not intend to promote itself but instead wants to take its views on cryptocurrencies around the United States, using the electoral campaign to attract media attention and more; these simple statements were enough to ignite the curiosity of the community with respect to its electoral campaign which, according to reports from McAfee, will finally come to life as of next month.
Meanwhile, prodded by followers who even a little provocatively asked him about his latest bitcoin price forecast, McAfee said he was still confident that BTC will hit an astronomical $ 1m quote by the end of 2020; personally, and those who follow us know it well, I find these predictions amusing but unrealistic, I find even the forecasts of 100 thousand dollars by the end of 2020 excessive, while I think it is likely to say that the next bitcoin ATH could reach up to 40/50 thousand dollars by the end of 2021. Time will tell how things will go and we live in a strange time, even just five years ago, people who would have bet that bitcoin would have survived until today weren't that many, and besides, even the people willing to bet on Donald Trump's victory could be counted on the tips of the fingers of one hand. Who knows, maybe the US will give us another surprise, maybe contrary to every prediction McAfee will really end up getting elected to the presidency of the United States and who knows, maybe this could end up having an effect on the price of bitcoin so strong to really drag it up to 1 million dollars; mind you, I would not bet even one euro, but so many unpredictable things have happened in recent years that it has become difficult to exclude anything, even the most unlikely.
