Walletconnect became my option ever since the metamask scams ran rampant. And many websites moved away from metamask logins to walletconnct checks. So this way eventually good amount of web3 traffic moved to the other side. And now the Walletconnect is turning out to be a good crypto payment gateway. 

They have started accepting the USDT, SOL, USDC on Solana blockchain. And if you have Walletconnect Pay enabled you can pay there. It has now possible since the integration. 

Walletconnect is established and also secure. So the trust is there. Distribution is there. And you can build upon the same. For example you can use this for business and the services. And Solana would do just fine as a chain for those stablecoin payments too. So now that they have the infra the payment for consumers becomes better.
