Telegram has both good and bad sides. Some really good things you can do by being in decentralized app that does the communication through encrypted chats etc. However there is also the dark side. Like the channels and the broadcast both are being taken over by the scammers and the people who make money off the vulnerable people. They create trading tips, trading manipulated trade sharing channels. And then use that to share based on the money you pay to such channels. 

This is something serious and people are trying to get the scam channels and the broadcast that is going on with the telegram's users. Take an example of the below channel. You can see that they are claiming to be registered with the SEBI. 

In short such many channels expect you to accumulate the trade and then make money. So in such case I can tell you this would be created more people who would pay for such channels for premium calls. And this call manipulation and the share market. Which is what we have to avoid and let the authorities work on this. 

SEBI has already arrested many telegram channel owners for running the stock market manipulation scams. And they have made some decent money out of the same. I feel that SEBI can push for further channel monitoring and the handling of the stock in the space too. But overall I would say that the telegram would be getting a lot of cyber complaints and likely to shutdown many channels too. 

It's good to see that SEBI is regulating the app and also the variety of the manipulators would be soon under the radar and likely to attract the legal cases too. In that context you can see that we are going to see less scams and the manipulators. Let's see where this goes and ends.
