Metamask evolved a lot over the years. Since last year they also decided to get into POS market with their crypto wallet. And they allow both VISA and mastercard based cards in different nations. And they seem to be allowing ethereum assets to be used for the payments. This month we learned that they also managed to get the payments with Solana. 

USDC and USDT is now available on the Solana and now that can be used through Metamask.

How it works? Very simple. Make sure to fund your wallet with the USDC and USDT under the Solana chain. Currently Mastercard accepts the Solana based stablecoin payments. So you can make use of the USDC/USDT can be used to pay.
