Shopify is one of the popular and the number one platform for building stores especially in the dropshipping and the brick and mortar stores online. And now this platform is opening itself to the crypto. And the settlements are also quick. They have integrated EVM chains, USDC and many other popular chains in their payment gateway. 

They started with USDC being the front runner stablecoin along with other blockchains for the crypto payments across their payment gateway inside stores. 

This is a good news for the crypto adoption but bad considering it is getting centralized with the USD spam of stablecoins. Literally no other stablecoins from other world is being accepted. So the whole game of the crypto replacing USD is now turned into everything is accepted with the USD based stabelcoins. And that is kind of pretty much the end of the growth for the alt coins.
