Pump.fun made SOL what it is today. It made the casual meme tokens have some existence in this world. And that existence made it easier for the tokens to build around. Some of those tokens were creators livelihood around the world. And so the SOL and pumpfun made the ecosystem better. 

As Solana continues to expand out of meme world, Pumpfun too decided to use stablecoin directly. As the regulation would have done it sooner or later as it is. 

is it a bad or good move? Most of the platforms going the stablecoin way is the future. And they would not stick with the platform token either. But it would depend on how the market is going to respond. Stablecoin would continue to do better in upcoming times and Pumpfun wanted to take advantage of these facts. 

My speculation is this would help more creators cashout in the stablecoin and this would also make the ecosystem and pump platform fun. I hope to see more creators build tokens now that things are slowly changing.
