Bitcoin made the privacy so important that people started to hate the banks and govt. Though world did not managed to destroy USD and the govt funded banks in USA as of yet. In fact most of the privacy and the BTC is under the control of the rich people of the USA. And so now more tokens and the L1 chains would give birth. 

Solana is trying to solve this problem on their chain through variety of protocols. And they have made few projects that would make it easier for the users to improve their privacy on the Solana ecosystem. 

Take example of Vanish project on Solana which makes it easier for the asset to swap privately. 

Umbra privacy is another project which makes it easier for you to generate new address on Solana for each payment you make keeping your base address safe and the transfer address easier for the payment processing. 

Another similar project is the Privacy Cash which makes it easier for the users to send the SOL without having to make any trace to the past projects and the chain address and history. 

That's it. There are more of such DeFi and the privacy transaction protocols. You may find that Solana would be catering to both the corporate world as well as the world in the privacy communities. So we are going to be seeing more of such projects in near future.
