Paypal once a very brutal payment processor which has closed countless business. But still survived in the payment business with the new accounts being created and make people use the service forever. And they expanded with Venmo, braintree payment and so on. The paypal's PYUSD has been growing over the years.
Paypal has now allowed the PYUSD to be deployed on the arbitrum, Ethereum, Solana and Stellar. So it's not that they are lacking anywhere behind. Slow and steady they are kind of building their footprint into the crypto. And local banks would be used for payouts too. So this is a good move they are going through.
I feel Paypal is about to get it's hands on the massive migration of the stablecoin from the local payments. And they would be doing their own domination too. I feel stripe would take over but they are kind of slow in this space. So we have to worry about local payments in our own and not depend on Paypal like drama.
