In past we used to do the crypto operations, be it buying, selling, maintaining and keeping it as long as it serves purpose. What if we could automate this and get most of our work done? What more you would need from the blockchains and other similar chains based services to do this in a better way?
This is where the Agents come into the play. And this is done using the open wallet standard. This would help the agents do the operations on the chain and the payment protocol. This is something they can do using the x402 using BIP39 standard.
The whole protocol was built using the Rust with the Python-Node bindings at the end. This being rust makes it easy to build upon and also one of those things which would be a good direction for future development. Creating the wallet, signing wallets, making the transactions using the agents is going to get better with the time.
A lot of companies are working on this protocol. So far 15 contributors are registered including the Solana and USDC being one of the known in the payment ecosystem. You can check out the OWS here. Mnemonics being single regardless of the chain makes this standard likely to get adopted. Let's see where that goes in upcoming times.
