A lot of blockchains open their project but the biggest obstacle is the adoption. And that happens for most of the blockchains and they open up foundation and educational institutes so that they would be able to get people to use their services and the blockchain products. 

Monad is one such blockchain that is compatible with the Ethereum virtual machine and they have recently started their own blockchain foundation too. 

This foundation would lead the governance through the validators. Which is basically the one responsible for the transaction validations. Which means we are going to be seeing some functional growth of the blockchain and with foundation there would be adoption of the blockchain too.

Monad labs would be able to diversify their work and also pass on the responsibility to another set of the people. And this would get the order managed there as well. This would also get more developers towards the adoption of the protocol as well.
