Is getting your own chain a good idea? I think so. I have seen the Gala games do it and so does the Immutable. And all of those chains and also the chains with the self tokens are kind of getting popularity. This also reduces the dependency on the external layer 1 chains and also that is a limit on innovation but also often having self tokens is a good idea. In some instance just getting the polygon like layer 1 token helps if things are kind of limited.
