Metamask the popular browser and the app based wallet for Ethereum and the layer 2  has been popular in the market. They have recently also started the swap service along with fiat ramp service. But now they are venturing into the staking service. Which is for the ethereum only initially but layer 2 would follow soon. It offers the pooled staking option in the portfolio section. 

First thing you are supposed to do is connect the Metamask to the Portfolio section of the metamask. There is a stake tab that you have to explore. In that stake section you have to check the amount of the Ethereum you are supposed to stake. You can also track the returns that you get out of the staking and the rewards would be listed in there as well. 

This feature is being offered by the Consensys in partnership with the metamask. So the pooled staking being available in the wallet would be the right means for the roadmap of their wallet services. As the regulation is in play so there is service limits for the US and UK. And they are not going to get it initial roadmap but soon that would be cleared. 

Metamask offering the in wallet staking would be good for many users. But do watch out with the scams and the hacks that happen with metamask and make sure to only stake what you can risk. Otherwise you never know what may likely to happen. Always do your own research before investing and even using the crypto wallets.
