x402 are the agentic payment protocol that has been gaining the momentum. Where the wallet can be assigned to agent and it would be used to pay the places. And this would be integrated across many blockchains. 

In fact the Visa, Mastercard and many others would be soon joining the x402 and would integrate into their human less terminals and the POS. Metamask has done the same with their own wallet for agents. 

Metamask is one of the risky wallets with a lot of security issues, lot of scams and the damage you would see but there are still consumers who use it. courses that recommend it. I am well over it. And don't even bother with that anymore.
