Exploratory games are fun to play. Not because of their replay value but they tend to keep you away from the boredom. They have the longer shelf life than most of the level based games where finishing the levels would complete the game too. This is one of the reason open world RPGs are famous out on the web.
I recently found one such exploratory game - Illuvium. I know the pronouncing the name is lot harder than googling it. So I'd save you from all this and help you with this brief review of the game which you can play soon once it's out for the final release. It has a vibe of Digimon, Pokemon type due to the creature being like this.
The game has the exploratory nature as in you are in search of those creatures, you find them, fight for them and finally collect them. You are going to fight for those creatures in the reward based games. And earn the reward and then get those creatures as an NFT. So overall your journey would be to acquire them and sell them to get your efforts rewards back in ETH.
The token and the NFT assets are on Ethereum. You would find the native token pretty cool priced once the NFT takes up the hype with the game released in the final in the roadmap.
Another interesting thing is that the game also has the land NFTs. So if you are one of those who like to book lands in the game and then reap the rewards for the land later that is also possible. You can definitely do that if you are into the NFT based investment. But as of now I am not so much positive about the land based NFTs of the game.
The game is pretty interesting as it has it's own creature NFTs, land NFTs, and also the in game reward and at the end you get to spend all the Ethereum for playing into the ecosystem. So marketwise the value of the assets and your efforts would be improving as you play longer. But too early to say how this game would unfold in near future and how people react to it.
