We are living in the world where everything is likely to get listed under the crypto blockchain. You are going to see a lot of problems being solved using the blockchains in our everyday life. Yet we get the feeling that not everybody wants to see things on the decentralized manner or even in digital manner for protecting their own nefarious schemes.
We blame govt. We blame nations. Yet the underlying problem is neither leaders nor the citizens but the bureaucrats who want to have power over the process. They keep the citizen ignorant and they make process sounds like rocket science to manipulate the people who are not exposed to digital and blockchain world.
So how can we fix some of the people problems using blockchains?
Reduce People in Govt Offices
Ever been to Asian govt offices where you want something done or get fixed? How can you fix those issues using the blockchain? Have you seen how the offices specific to govt work take bribe and also manipulate people to come to the office. Like for simple name mistakes they can take money off your hands and do changes. And for some of such reason people need to have power over small things.
I never liked the people who work in the govt office. Because their motive to get job was never to serve the society but to get rich through bribe and have retirement pension assurance. That is one of the reasons I want automation and blockchain in the govt offices. And having some value extracted through the process in the govt offices we can see things changing as well.
More Open Data to Keep People Accountable
Blockchain that has the public servers usually make the data open. Which helps processing it and keeping an eye on the data for the outcome easier. Most of the decentralized and community managed blockchains are public with data and also you can keep tab on the transactions easily. As long as you have data feed access you can easily keep the transactions accountable in the due process.
When you open your data to people things change on the accountability and governance. A lot of fraud on low level can be minimized. The data can't be tampered for personal gain. You can also notice how the accountable journey may change the people. They would force their own self to learn and adjust to the changing tech as well. So we need the blockchain data to be more open.
Fraud Mentality against Blockchain
I am not saying blockchain would reduce the frauds. Heck, rug pulls are born on the blockchain every single day. So making sure to do something about it is getting harder. I have seen that with the cash and the everyday frauds have moved their own scam ecosystem for so many decades. And there is simply no way they can even stop on the blockchains.
What you can do instead is make sure to get the people educated and reduce the frauds in the process. As the frauds happen most of the time in the blockchains process. You can't stop fraud but make the process more transparent and easier to work on in the event of the frauds. So that would happen eventually with the time.
Blockchain is an impressive tech. As long as we use it the right way it can do wonders. Replacing nations and govt with blockchain won't be sane considering "one world govt" scenario is not safe, nor the players who vouch for it are safe.
However if we can fix some of the common social and people problems using the blockchain, we can automate the trust and value using the same.
We can fix some amount of people problem using the blockchain. It can be done.
