Digital Euro in CBDC form is coming. And the cash is going to be pushed back in the Euro. As the pilots are now out in the open world. Where the banks and the merchants are about to test the everyday load. And slowly adopt the payrolls, POS and kiosk payments.

There is going to be official wallet. And soon going to have more CBDC based interfaces popping up in the govt portals. 

This would mean the final deployment of the CBDC would be lot easier and it would meet all the launch nations in time. Which would also collect enough feedback for the future upgrades and the forks. 

As a consumer for us the wallet and the online usage matters. And for that we have to wait for a year or two at this rate of development. You can read more here.
