WAX blockchain has it's fair share of the games and the metaverses where you can find a lot of variety of games. WAX also seems to be gaining a lot of upperhand in the NFT marketplace. Many metaverse games are choosing WAX for deploying their NFT items. Compared to the Ethereum blockchain, WAX seems to be lacking on the popular games though. But there are some coming out which we can explore, one such is - Dark Country.

At first when you think of such name you would feel like this is an FPS or the RPG game but this time it's Trading Card game. The decks and the table design has been pretty good and kind of sets the mood.

This reminds you of the splinterlands type design but here the gameplay may appear purely like Gods Unchained and the Hearthstone. You would easily get used to it if you play for some time. It however requires your focus and a bit getting used to for this game.

The game has the gothic vibe and also feels lot like country feel there in the cards and character design. I kind of loved the vibe if only splinterlands has such type of the theme. It'd be fun either way to have some other game with such niche coming out with design.

As you can see there are around 40 cards that you would be getting. And also free users can play and earn the rewards too. You would have to also focus on the PVP battles that would be good for anyone who wants to play tournament matches. It has not grown much as of now for that but soon that too would happen for sure. It has a token named Shadow Dimes and it has symbol for token SDM on WAX and FLOW chain.

In near future you would be dealing with land, items, quests, PVP matches and lot more on these maps. You would just love playing as you put more effort but compared to splinterlands it would take a bit of time. I feel this game is worth a try if you have some WAX sitting idle and want somewhere to invest into!
