Before we proceed let me get the things straight, I don't support socialism, nor a complete capitalism. I believe with hybrid finance and taxation system we can have much better social structure. Now let's talk about our current structure of the society where we are trying to integrate the blockchain into the taxation and other governance models.
Taxation and Crypto
People hate to pay taxes. They think that progress should happen purely by making use of the rich peoples money. While they want to remain where they are in terms of financial stature and they don't have to pay taxes. They hate entire governance models and they think by hating govt, hating taxation and hating the rich they can achieve the abundance.
So how does the taxation issues can be solved through taxation model in blockchain? Public blockchains that make use of the taxation data can show you how much money govt has. If the public blockchain integrates the governance models it can even add more transparency. And we get the access to things where the money is being spent. Who as a citizen has got the incentive in their account. All of this can be tracked and used while doing the legal documentation and cases.
Socialism is Broken, You Can Hate me but It's a Fact
I know many people on hive and steem when it comes to the socialism debates. A lot of people think that govt or some other people are responsible for taking care of them. Other rich people have obligation towards the govt while these people would not want to be part of the system where everyone is in fair place for paying taxes. Basically the socialist and communist arguments are more or less from the labor point of view but not from the social structure point of view.
Abundance
Nobody with socialism is rich. Nobody with capitalism has the social intention. Most of the rich support social initiatives for their own agenda. Let's accept that as a fact. Kumbaya and ubuntu system sounds good if the population is low. The moment population increases certain religions start to dominate as they wish hell to those who don't accept their god. So trying to enforce financial models for inclusive to all becomes lot harder.
In order for abundance to take place, crypto has to integrate with transparency into the governance and the system. Less transparent taxation models, the more people who choose to take advantage and also try to manipulate the system. Also more incentives and excuses a system allows for people, the less it helps the nation and society as a whole. Only way to make sure everything works is the transparency in the crypto system.
A lot can be said about this but we are yet to see govt coming out with any strong bill of inclusion of blockchain into the governance and taxation models. Once it does come out we can see how it helps or breaks the social structures.
