Coinbase is extending it's features and offerings. Take example of the tokenized stocks. They are competing with the Arbitrum and Robinhood chain on the release of the tokenized stocks. And they have decided to launch this on the AAVE. So the ethereum community can take part into this and this would be another success. 

I have lot of concerns when the exchanges make the chain. They get to force the KYC and also buying those tokens in the paywall and gate you control kind of makes us lose the control. And that in itself is going to be pretty difficult for anyone to work around. 

Tokens can be kept in collateral with the Ethereum chain. And that would be another growth in the Ethereum ecosystem. Something we have to appreciate and we have to build around as well. So this is a good direction to consider.
