I recently noticed the rising number of the charities making use of the blockchain. They do it to look fancy in front of the rich people or the people who give donation to cause. This also created a series of the cases where the charity organizations are seen to be nothing but the rug pull in most of the cases. And govt and tax dept around the world realized how the blockchain for charity can be another case for tax evasion.

So how does this work? How come some of the charity blockchains are being used as a rug pull scams or even for tax evasion?

Fancy Hype, No Credibility

Blockchain will get rid of the poverty. Blockchain will get rid of the pollution. Blockchain will get rid of the women suffering and will empower them. A lot of such type of the blockchains are nothing but a scam. Take example of the Universal basic income hype. How many of such projects have any form of success? A lot of US based charity projects created fake UBI projects and sold the pipedream to the people.

A lot of such charity projects are creating hype. And they are used as a way for the brands to get the popularity and the promotion. Some of the time exposure of that type is not going to add any form of the credibility in our life. Some of the time we have to just go with the facts and the reality on the ground and avoid the glossy fancy stuff these charity organizations paint.

Tax Evasion from Charity

A lot of charities are being registered under govt. They can do all the tech infrastructure and get the donation from the tech companies or the VC companies. A lot of these charity companies are designed to establish the corporate or the religious or liberal propaganda. A lot of those are enforced on the people through the content brainwashing.

During the process there is definitely a value that can be derived from actions of such type of the charities. I feel a lot of times this charity organizations promotion can help actual cause but in reality maximum number of such charities are nothing but the umbrella shell corporations set up to evade the various type of the tax and red tape issues.

Rug Pull Games

I recently noticed one of the charity scams that came up with it's own token. And it has the carbon neutral agenda. In reality they basically do the content creation and educate the world on how the US and EU based nations are carbon neutral and other nations where the outsourced factories exist are the real evil. Which is kind of oxymoron knowing how the outsourced game works.

Here the rug pull is basically where the big companies put up the funds into such charities, add in the illusion of helping the cause, keep the funds pumping and rotate the funds back to the people in the company through the different means, in this context, the blockchain.I see a lot of charities getting the funding for destabilizing the small nations and their local cultures. I feel such charities having rug pull structure too so that when discovered they too would run after meeting their agenda.

I have stopped trusting some of the blockchain projects. Because I can clearly see behind the mask of the use case they are just laundering money and doing the grey crimes. Something we cant really object on because we are washing our hands in the river of such things too.

It's hard to trust the charity organizations these days.

You never know when those charities will scam you and your govt and manipulate you back against your govt or among your culture.
