A lot of African nation rely on the western world for the movement of their freedom and the changes in their places. And as the nation collapse a lot of western influence goes down. And so does the freedom of speech. Now Uganda is going through regime changes and they have internet downtime. In this time they are making use of the Bluetooth mesh to do the communication. 

This has helped them in communication without worrying about the grand scheme of their freedom. They seem to be getting back to normal now their communication is done through bitchat. Only thing that would stop them now is the digital payments. 

Bitchat is an app that is very basic. Once connected to the mesh it is going to let you communicate with the nearby devices and then that would extend you slowly as more devices in the vicinity gets connected. Kind of look ancient due to bluetooth but it is free from internet and it works for the features. 

I find this useful as it uses the tech to the max. And turns out the feature wise this is indeed a good feature. I love how the apps like these develop the security among the consumers and also help them fight the restrictions. As an app developer I love the features like these.
