In past I have reviewed a lot of gala games products. They have released many strategy, MMORPG and other games in the blockchain. They have their own token, NFT and marketplace on their platform. It seems like the publisher company has metaverse of their own products. And considering single token with lot of internal tokens being released, it becomes easier for the gamers to play on single platform.
So this time they are developing the Battlestar Galactica Eternity. And that game is likely to be on the blockchain with all the NFTs and the in game items that resembles the lore. The game is soon coming for the public release soon.
For now the game has the sign up page open but apart from that we don't have much action out. But based on the Gala games beta testers some information is out these days.
What is this game?
So basically this is a game where you are experiencing the 4X, strategy and the SciFi aspect all in one. It's developed by Revolving Games and the published on the Gala Games platform. So you would be making use of the Gala tokens.
The game would run in a seasons. You would build the fleet and your factions would be defended against the cylons. You have around 12 colonies and the respective factions in them. Your seasons and the quests will vary based on that.
Your choice of faction would change the choice of the resources you extract, the fleet you build and the cylons you encounter in the specific set of places. You may find that PVP, PVE and other ranked games are going to make you play for hours. The idle gaming component is not much yet out so we have to wait and see where things are going.
What to expect?
You can expect lot of NFTs internally being sold. The economy would also be kind of forced on the gamers for the rewards. So don't expect any freebie. but it would be a treat to play if you have ever seen that series and happen to like the strategy game. It's too early to comment on it's tokenomics however and also the overall benefit for the blockchain gamers but we will see once it completely out for all of us to play.
