AWS was out yesterday like literally 50% of the web was down due to that. I am still yet to get access to many of the services. And this means that blockchain has the issue of datacenters going down. And the chains not operating on their fullest extent seems to be an issue.
Solana on the other hand continued to perform. Like it has like 10% of the blockchain stakers on the AWS. And this means soon the Solana network would expand to other datacenters outside Amazon and Azure which face a lot of downtimes every now and then.
It's not like Solana is superman of the chain. You may find their downtimes too in fact in past they had big downtime and chain was barely moving a single transaction too. So things like that happen in blockchain world too. Ethereum had many downtimes that is why other L2 chains are being developed.
Solana has it's up and down too. But they are diversifying the chains and the data is being diversified. That would kind of help in most of the scenarios. So hoping that with the AWS people have some lessons to learn and explore too.
