Remember the time when there used to be tech like NeoPets? There were games and the small metaverse way before the blockchain too. They used to have a means to raise the virtual pets. And it used to keep you mentally occupied in them. It was a good tech which has now the potential to take over the world. So recently I noticed one such project where the thing is getting closer with NFTs and AI.
Here the project is called - Fuzzle.
You buy a fuzzle, raise it with specific properties and then have it as a virtual pet. You are yet to get the most out of such type of the virtual creature. Because currently this being a NFT property, there would be some limits on how much data and the memory and attachment it can grow. So there is kind of limit to this project.
As you can see from the image, the NFTs of Fuzzle creatures are available in various size, shape and colors. So the each Fuzzle is going to be unique. And the attractive ones with the characteristics would be getting the attention. So there is going to be a marketplace for the people who plan on making us of the NFT sale of such creatures.
Note: This is not a game. It's more like AI based NFTs. Where you buy this pet creature, chat with it and also hold it as an NFT to sell or buy it later.
I wish the chat bots get more real than just being yet another Alexa. Because we need people to listen to and converse with without any form of a judgement. And with real life people judging us and finding a fault and attacking on it. I feel that AI chatbots, AI pets are gaining more value in the life in general. Something the artificial need is now created.
Should you buy AI based Creatures as an NFT?
I am kind of divided on this. Unless I get some super cool AI which helps me with loneliness. I feel there does not seem to be any good option for that as of now. So this Fuzzle is just a virtual eye candy as of now and yet to become a mature product.
