World is slowly moving towards agent based activities on the web. like Agents would browsing the web and doing the actions. And for them different set of the protocol are being generated. So just like websites now the agent flow is being built so that automation can be formed. In response to this changing world, Mastercard too built agent pay. 

This protocol would make the machines pay for the things on the chains and also on the web. So that's a new development from the payment systems where they want to go agent only. 

This interface would be specific to agents. So the payment automations would be made using the same. So a lot of products and the automation based payments would be through such type of the systems. It is going to be difficult to work with for humans but its made for the agents so that interface design reflects.
