Agents are taking over. And they are taking it like one app at a time. And slowly agent based market trading would be the norm. And that kind of shows you there is going to be a bigger market drop that is about to happen if this becomes the norm. And that also means the agents have to do things right with the buying and selling. 

MCP make the development easier as the Agents reads everything being offered by the API and the companies. And so the development makes sense to use such tools and the plugin. And the MCP plugin would also speed up the development and it knows what to do and what not to. So that helps in the grand scheme of development.
