The Perfect Point Does Not Exist. Neither At The Bottom, Nor At The Top

I came across an old Stan Weinstein scheme — about the four stages of the market. And there is one phrase in it worth stopping for:

You don't get paid extra for buying at the very bottom.

No bonus. No medal. Whether you bought at 60,000 or 66,000 — the market doesn't care. But you do. Because you sat for six months waiting for "just a little bit lower."

Now flip that.

In the fall of 2025, I started taking profits on my Bitcoin positions. In parts. By strategy. I wrote about it publicly.

My subscriber Konstantin wrote back then: I'll hold a little longer. I think it will go higher. I'll exit at 130,000.

Honestly — I also wanted a higher price. I did. But I remembered one thing: the peak is visible ONLY in the rearview mirror. No one knows where the top will be. Maybe 130. Maybe not.

So I locked in a portion of my portfolio. Not at the perfect price. But enough to sleep well on my pillow afterwards.

And Konstantin didn't exit. He waited for the perfect point.

And here's the catch: it's THE SAME mistake. At the bottom, a person waits for the perfect entry and doesn't buy. At the top, they wait for the perfect price and don't sell.

Everyone has thought at least once, "I'll wait a bit longer, I'll catch a better one."

What Weinstein offers instead of guessing:
Don't guess the price. Look at the market's BEHAVIOR.
Has the decline actually stopped? Have sellers run out of steam? Has the price built a base for long enough? Has it broken resistance and held above it? Are pullbacks being bought up?

That's a real conversation. That's not a prediction — that's signs of a stage change.

And the main thing: the magic isn't in a moving average. The magic is in LOGIC. You don't need to copy Weinstein. You don't need to copy me. You need your own system, by which you navigate by price AND by time, not by "I want more."

The difference between "being late" and "waiting for confirmation" is huge. The first is shame. The second is work.

The cycle will sort everything out. The only question is whether it will catch you with a plan or with hope.
