Cryptocurrency capitalization reaches $ 1.5 trillion

According to CoinMarketCap data, the DOT rate surpassed USD 30.0 on Tuesday, eventually reaching almost USD 31.0, the highest level in history. This means an increase of about 10% over the last 24 hours. Since the beginning of this year, the token price has already increased by 290%.

According to analysts, this is not the end of increases. In the short term, Polkadot may rise to $ 41.0, which is more than 30% from the current price, believes analyst Rakesh Upadhyay.

Cosmos leads the way. Record cryptocurrency capitalization

Among the 20 largest altcoins in terms of capitalization, Cosmos (ATOM) rose the most, both in the last 24 hours and on a weekly basis, by 23% and 77%, respectively. Today, the cryptocurrency has set a historic high of over $ 26.

Meanwhile, the total capitalization of all cryptocurrencies in the world, of which there are over 8,000, for the first time exceeded USD 1.5 trillion - of which about 61% is Bitcoin. Recall that the USD 1 trillion round barrier was broken in early January.
