Phemex, a new crypto derivatives trading platform has put up a picture puzzle with a 2.1 bitcoin price for whoever can solve it. In a tweet (see: https://twitter.com/Phemex_official) published on Thursday, January 16 2020 Phemex wrote, “Crack this Puzzle and Win 2.1 Bitcoin”. Phemex put up the picture puzzle, the image itself is the form of a portrait made up of what seems to be matrix barcodes.
Phemex is a cryptocurrency derivatives exchange platform offering Bitcoin and USD settled perpetual contracts of BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC, EOS, with up to 100X leverage. The crypto derivatives platform launched its office in Singapore back in late 2019.
A clue for the private key for the bitcoin prize given in the picture puzzle involves the first 21-digit prime found in consecutive digits of the mathematical constant ‘e’ — Euler’s number.
Other clues can be found in the puzzle with the words “ETH”, “XRP” and “Phemex” all written inside the picture.
For Phemex, the puzzle is a brilliant marketing idea that could raise awareness of their company by introducing the company to the wider crypto audience as more interested participants continue to spread the word… and try to solve the puzzle.
