Last summer, 2020, I launched a book titled I Am Not the King. It is a sort of spiritual memoir, my testimony of faith in Jesus Christ. What happened is, I launched the book, but because I was so busy with a lifestyle change I didn't do very much promotion. That means I didn't sell many books. Well, I've decided to relaunch the book and do it right this time.
On October 24, I Am Not the King will be published with a new cover. Here's the new cover:
The book is organized into three parts:
- Part 1 describes my childhood, growing up in a dysfunctional religious family with a verbally abusive father.
- Part 2 shows my young adult days and how I left home angry and bitter toward my parents, threw myself into sexual relationships that weren't good for me, and ultimately challenged to think more deeply about life by an atheist college professor.
- Part 3 shows how God has worked in my life over the last 28 years to grow me spiritually and increase my faith through trials and circumstances.
I am looking for people to volunteer to join my book launch team. Launch team members are an integral part of the book publishing process. Here's what you will do:
- Receive an advance reading copy of the book (about one week prior to publishing)
- Read the book
- On launch day, buy a copy of the book in any format
- Leave a review on Amazon and/or Goodreads
- Tell your friends about the book
- Share the book on your social media profiles
