The main focus this week fell on why the dividends stayed low for a couple of days, there were a couple of announcements and how CrypCade handles an exploit, this and more in this week’s recap.
As most of the users of CrypCade have noticed in the past couple of days the dividend pool stayed quiet low and even went into the minus for a short period. This is not uncommon for casino DApps that are provably fair and it serves as a proof that players can also have luck and win big amounts on some days.
With that said, let’s dig into what exactly caused the spike DOWN of the dividends that we all love so much! As you may know if you follow our articles – CADEwheel was released two weeks ago. As it sadly often happens in the DApps space, there are always bad people who try to find and misuse vulnerabilities in newly released games/DApps.
This was the case this week at CrypCade – here is the official statement from CRYPCADE GrandMaster:
Hello Caders,
Recently we noticed some irregular activity on our CadeWheel game.
After thorough checks and in depth analysis we have concluded there is a multitude of wallets placing correct bets, while diving deeper we have noticed they seem to have not lost very often.

On further checks we have found that these users exploited a front end bug. We have asked our users to not play the CADEWheel game during maintenance but some users used alternative methods to gain access to CADEWheel URL to continue exploiting .
The correct procedure for this would be to contact a member of the CrypCade staff here or on [email protected].
Once a bug is found do NOT attempt to continue to exploit it as this will result a PERMA BAN on all CrypCade activities .
ALL WINS EARNED BY EXPLOIT WILL BE CONFISCATED .
These Users have now been banned from further engagement on CrypCade.io. We apologies for any inconvenience caused .
We have recovered 30,000 TRX (approximately 30% of the exploited funds) as our security measures have stop these users from further withdrawal .
The pool have now been replenished with 30,000TRX. Have a Great Weekend Caders!!
This is the way to handle a situation like that! Not only caught the people that were misusing the vulnerability on CADEwheel but also replenished 1/3 of the amount that was stolen from the dividends pool! Way to go CrypCade!
