How to add GOG coin to your Metamask wallet

By Bayrd | CryptoBasics | 23 Aug 2022

Metamask is more than just a Crypto wallet, it serves as an important bridge and gateway to blockchain applications. In this article I will explain how to add GoG coin to your Metamask wallet.

First, I recommend going to https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/guild-of-guardians. A great deal of the information you will need can be pulled from there.

Open up your Metamask wallet and at the very bottom of the assets tab you will see:

                                                                                             importtoken

Click on the import tokens link, then click on the 'custom tokens' tab. You should see this:

                                                                              eee8c8fb173d59701cad45c7790197203018c34731b4f21655ad98ea3ea5b564.png

This is where you will input the information from Coin Gecko:

Token Contract Address: 0x9ab7bb7fdc60f4357ecfef43986818a2a3569c62

Token Symbol: GOG

Token Decimal: 18

The Symbol and Decimal should prefill once you enter the token contract address.

Then simply click "add custom token" and "import tokens."

You should now see GOG coin as one of the listed tokens in your Metamask wallet!
