The service allows NFT and token holders with music to play their content directly on the streaming service.

Although Spotify has not issued a statement about the tests, users quickly noticed the company's move.

One of the profiles that alerted about Spotify's novelty is Overlord, the owner of an NFT game linked to the metaverse and Web3.

There are several products linked to the brand, which, when in cryptocurrency wallets, can now be linked to the streaming service.

When publishing about the novelty, the Overlord page declared that it is one of the companies selected for the initial tests.

Spotify itself responded to Overlord, saying it is excited to explore the novelties with the Web3 company.

The pilot tests started only with mobile users with the Android operating system.

It is not clear when it will be available for iOS and Desktop users, who are also Spotify customers and may be interested in testing.

Now it is unclear to the market how long Spotify's tests with Web3-linked wallets integration could last, or which collections are helping the company in the process.

It is worth remembering that in the past, the social network Twitter itself allowed customers to feature their NFTs as profile pictures, a feature even used by Brazilian football superstar Neymar.
