What is a crypto faucet?

A faucet it's a web site that give us cryptos for doing many tasks; like watching videos, visiting links, watching ads, and others. Some examples of this websites will be "Faucet crypto" and "AutoFaucet"

Where the money comes from?

This websites are monetizated principally with ads, for that, only by entering to the page we are generating profits to them. This page ask us to many tasks, EACH OF THEM being monetizated; sign in in websites also with ads, watching ads, being inside of pages for a definied time, and others. The free cash doesn't exists, in this pages we are paying with our time and also with the profits that we generated to the page; but we know that the slogan of "free" sells a lot.

Are useful?

It depends. If your wish it´s being rich or live of this websites, you should reconsider it because the quantities of cypto that this websites give to you are so small(in the best of the cases you will earn near of 6 cents a day). In my opinion the faucets have an utility: introduce the people to the crypto world without needing investing his own cash on it; maybe the quantities that they receive are so small, but are enough to understand the blockchain and also, make transactions and analize if this "format" it´s for them or not.

Conclussion

The faucets are a good way to enter to the crypto world without investing; you will learn how to transfer money with this assets without possibility of lossin your own money. But it´s only recommendable in that case, the faucets aren´t profitable in the mid-long term. But go ahead, remember that your paying with your own time, and as we know, we don't have too much.
