Maybe you’ve noticed too, that when tipping on Publish0x the amount of ETH and AMPL has decreased. Meaning less money per tip when it comes to these assets.
Let me know if you’re experiencing the same thing.
Without looking into it, or seeking the official response, I’ll share with you two thoughts I had on possible reasons and why it might not be that bad.
Firstly it is possible that Publish0x is transitioning to make what is now their primary use token, their full time and maybe only token SPOT. Meaning they might be transitioning off ETH and AMPL just as they’ve transitioned off other tokens in the past.
If this is the case than there is a plus, since we’ve seen that the SPOT tipping was worth more than the others, now all the tipping will be the higher amount since it’ll all be SPOT.
The only down side to this is as explained in the previous article that currently is very difficult to swap the SPOT token and there isn’t much use for it other than a store of value.
The second possible explanation that I can think of is (besides for that they’re running out of money so they decreased how much they give), possibly the user network has grown, so though Publish0x is still allocating the same amount of funds it is being divided by more leaving each individual with a drop less.
Anyhow keep in mind this is all just speculation with no official source, feel free to comment your thoughts and opinions on this matter or better yet if you can fill me in on the facts.
