As a KuCoin user, this wasn’t a problem for withdrawing  Ethereum and Amplforth, it was as easy as opening my KuCoin account clicking my profile and copying the 9 digit number. 

However, when it came to withdrawing SPOT that’s when I started getting a little worried. 

Not much simple information was given as to which wallets would be good for the transfer of these funds, it just said we recommend using meta mask and that if you chose a wallet that cannot receive the funds, then it’ll get lost.

So I started searching the internet to see if Coinbase wallet is compatible with SPOT, but I couldn’t find any helpful information on the subject. 

Then I further looked into the withdraw page on Publish0x and found that the token is sent via smart contract and that one should make sure that the wallet accepts that token.

Sure enough, after some more research it seemed like Coinbase wallet accepted SPOT and that it would accept a token via smart contract on the Ethereum network.

So though it felt a bit risky since I had not seen any online confirmation that this was the case and the transaction would indeed go through, I was willing to gamble since it was not a lot of money and I clicked withdraw to my Coinbase account. 

It went through!

I received the SPOT tokens that were sent and it was actually very quick.

However there did seem to be a display issue on Coinbase stay tuned for a full article on that, which is why personally I would not recommend it just yet. 

I do plan on updating on this issue when it gets resolved.

In summation, it does work, you can send SPOT to Coinbase wallet and I’m pretty sure your asset will be safe (not financial advice, just saying that I was able to), though there might be some other issues such as display.
